Yet another trip on 14th July, this time to Grotte di Frasassi, one of the wonders of the natural caves in the world, a must experience to really feel the awesome and mystery of natural creation. I never imagine to see a thing like this when described and explained because there are things that can’t be described, you got to be there to feel the awesome presence and say nothing. It is simply incredible, fabulous in terms of natural beauty.
How it all came about is altogether another story (Huge candle like rock formations from the drippings of water over the years). I only dare say it is unbelievable and incredible. You can almost imagine a sort of like heavenly dwelling right here. What a creation. You feel the deep silence in the enormity and untold imaginary forms all over you. I am told that the whole Basilica/dome of Milan could be shrouded in this one main central cave that lies at a high of 200 metres. The extend of the cave is huge. You need 75 minutes for a quick trip. You can have four hours, if you have to take a roundabout visit.
I have to be grateful to my friends and benefactors, Cesare and Natalina who planned all these trips for me at the expense of their time and means.

Wow! I could see and even feel the grandeur and splendor of this cave. It reminds me of the Seegrotto in Austria where Hitler build his first war plane during the WWII. Keep on ...EXPLORE ITALIA!
adjust you clock...it seems it's behind schedule
Fr. what exactly is this?
