Off to Something Special

Guys must have thought I was off to something, imagine about two months off the blog. I was indeed off to Venice to replenish my weak mind and soul after sloughing through the annual exams which I thought I did fairly well. I did want to reward self and took a quiet moment of repose at Venice with my friends for a couple of days. We left on 23rd June and came back on 25th. It’s a place proper for anyone to take off a while and say ‘wow this is beautiful’. You got to experience your natural metabolism and allow your body a little bit of exercise by walking as well, ‘coz there aren’t any vehicular automobiles except of course the little water ways, like traghetto, steamboats or water bus but only if you care to throw off your bugs for nothing. It’s a place exceptionally different from any other tourist attractions. As I mention, the means of transport is your feet that takes you wherever you want, it’s the water that takes you to the basilicas, the churches, hotels, restaurants, residential houses. There are not less than 400 little bridges that connect people to this wonderful Island.
Off from Venezia we came to Padua a little town of holy Anthony of Padua. We came here to pay homage to this great saint. I have heard of him as one of the saint of the impossible. I have put to him my intention as well. But it is really a cute little neat and clean city. You breathed the holy air over there. You really feel the quiet silent presence of the saint even as you step in to the city.
This trip was therefore quite rewarding in many sense. (sorry, couldn’t include pictures).

I am extremely sorry for the lousy-clumsy blog lying like that for days. It’s a crime to past off such precious days sensa entry. I must say welcome back home poor little blog.
